About Me

I'm a full time web designer based in Boston, Ma with over 5 years of experience under my belt. I take pride in delivering creative, functional and visually appealing solutions.

I was born into an obsessively-creative family of artists, sculptures, and photographers. After graduating college, I chose a job doing the first thing that seemed interesting: helping some MBA grads edit video testimonals and knock out some print materials they needed for seminars they were holding. In short, a part time gig turned quickly into a full-time job, where I spent the majority of my time re-branding the company, designing marketing materials, designing and coding email campaigns, and basically bringing a small grassroots company a presence. Since then I've been working as a freelance web and graphic designer for some amazing advertising agencies in Boston and various other clients.

PORTFOLIO

Webster Bank

One of the projects I worked on while at Sapient Nitro in 2010 was the redesign of Webster Bank's website. They had a number of new aspects and capabilities they wanted to add to the bank's site, and needed our help to put it to life. I worked as the lead designer on this project.

CVS Flu shot scheduler

Another important project I worked on while at Sapient Nitro was the complete design of CVS's Flu Shot Scheduler site, which they planned to roll out within a matter of months. I worked countless hours as the lead designer with a handful of other members on the project, and in the end we delivered a packet of designs that we were proud of.

bertuccis takeover

For this takeover, I worked to implement designs that were provided to me by Bertucci's ad agency. I used layered PSD files and turned them into an animated flash ad.

Hublot Takeover

This was a project I was very proud of. I singlehandedly was responsible for this takeover's concept, design, and implementation, which was meant to highlight a few of Hublot's selected high-end watches. I wanted to make something that reflected their clean, sleek, and sexy site, and in the end I was incredibly happy with how it turned out.

Dunkin Donuts Sliding Billboard

Dunkin Donuts is a frequent advertiser on Boston.com, and usually when they run an ad for us, their ad agency (Mullen) supplies the art direction, and we put it to life. In this instance, they supplied us with the copy and a static print ad (of the muffin and copy) and I animated the sliding billboard using a simple storyline of a pumpkin and fall leaves.

Unlike the first Dunkin Donuts ad I did, this one was a rush job, with very little direction. Dunkin Donuts said they wanted "energy, iced coffee, and related to the Patriots winning the Superbowl", as this ad was supposed to go live only if we won. They loved what I came up with, but as we all know, the Pats lost and this ad never ran.

Bentley University Takeover

Exigo is a norwegian IT consultant agency. I delivered their webdesign, logo and various stationary designs.

Boston Globe Insiders Club mocks

These are a few designs I did for a personal project. I wanted to design the new Boston Globe Insiders Club based on a clean, minimalist, and effective design that I thought woul work nicely with the current BostonGlobe.com

Boston Deals redesigns

I created this redesign for our Boston Deals site one morning, when I sat at my desk and thought of my ideal version of our site. Needless to say, after a few hours of designing, I brought it to my Creative Director and we decided to move ahead and make these designs a reality. It is now in the process of development.

Boston Dealstv mocks

The idea for Boston Deals TV came to me one day when I realized that offering videos for deals we run would be a great promotional value to customers as well as an enticement for potential deal buyers. I designed this microsite from scratch. The image included shows a few variations of pages based on different 'types' of deals.
